TDP MLA Gets arrest warrant for burning CBN's effigy

Though the title may sound a little weird, This is exactly what happened in Pathapatnam on Tuesday. A TDP MLA was served arrest warrant in connection with the case related to burning of the effigy of his party chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Actually, K Venkata Ramana won as MLA from Pathapatnam Assembly Constituency on YCP ticket in 2014 Polls. Few years ago, YSRC Activists led by the Local Legislator burnt the effigy of CM Chandrababu Naidu during a protest seeking Special Category Status. That's when a case was booked against the MLA for disrespecting Chief Minister. Later, Venkata Ramana defected to the ruling TDP due to Operation Akarsh but the case remained unchanged.

As the Legislator failed to appear for several hearings, The Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant Today. Neither the MLA nor TDP knew how to react to the tricky situation. That's why, Politicians need to be very careful while taking up any activity, else they will end up getting haunted for their mistakes in similar fashion.
