TDP Spends Most For Online Ads

Know which party is spending the most on social media advertisement in view of the current general elections? No marks for guessing. It's Telugu Desam. The party has began giving advertisements on google and Youtube and other social media apps from February itself. According to Google, The largest amount of Rs 1.48 crore has been spent by the ruling TDP in AP.

The BJP spent Rs 1.21 crore, while the YSRCP spent Rs 1.04 crore. The TDP is not spending directly for the social media. It is spending through two companies Pramanya Strategy Consulting Ltd and Ditent Consulting Pvt Ltd All the political parties together have given as many as 831 advertisements. The Congress has spent the least. It spent just Rs 54,100 on 14 advertisements.

Statewise, AP is spending the maximum. It perhaps is the only state which is spending more than Rs 1 crore. The AP has spent Rs 1.73 crore, while UP with Rs 18 lakh and Maharashtra with Rs 17 lakh are second and third in terms of social media spending. Among the lowest social media spending is Lakshadweep, which has spent just Rs 300. Andaman and Nicobar spent Rs 800, while Daman and Diu spent Rs 1200.
