Update: 2022-04-27 12:40 GMT
Andhra Pradesh has been seeing some tense situations for the past few days with the alleged gang rape issue. While the opposition TDP is blaming the ruling party for its failure, the ruling party is hitting back saying that the opposition party is trying to get political mileage out of it.

It is known that state women commission chairman Vasireddy Padma also came into the picture. She had alleged that the TDP leaders tried to create a ruckus and accused the leaders of not behaving properly when she visited the hospital to meet the rape survivor.

Holding Chandrababu Naidu responsible for not being able to control his leaders on the issue, teh women commission had asked him to appear before it for questioning. However, he did not appear before it and this made the commotion angry as it had reportedly registered a case.

The TDP leaders delegation led by Vangalpudi Anitha went to the women's commission's office in the Guntur district. Looking at the big crowd, the police deployed there had permitted only a few leaders including Anitha to go inside. Anitha and Padma had an argument reportedly.

Listing out the incidents of attacks against women in the state, Anitha asked Vasireddy Padma what the government had done on these issues and sought an answer. Padma is believed to have said that she will answer soon.
