Update: 2014-05-28 06:57 GMT
The two days festival of Telugu Desam Party ‘Mahanadu’ was launched yesterday amidst huge crowds and the Party is jubilantly celebrating it in the backdrop of coming to power in Seema Andhra region. But the problems of the party seem to be still persistent in the Telangana region.

Two of the noted leaders from Telangna skipped the event and it has raised doubts in party circles.TDP’s noted  leader and official spokesperson Revanth Reddy was conspicuous by his absence at Mahanadu. Similarly, another senior leader from Khammam district and ex minister Tummala Nageswara Rao also chose to stay away from the meet. It is being assumed that Tummala decided to stay away from Mahanadu due to his differences with Nama Nageswarrao who said to be a close aid of Chandrababu.

Both the leaders are hostile with TDP high command since long time. Revanth Reddy was not happy with refusing the Malkajgiri MP seat. It was then told that he will be leaving in to TRS but held back and contested from his Kondangal seat. Few days before Revanth Reddy’s loyalists were out on the streets demanding the party leadership to nominate him from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Constituency.

Political circles assuming that both the leaders trying to shift their loyalties to  TRS .We need to wait and see whether TDP receive jolt in Telangana or not.
