India's Tour Of Australia: India Wins Third ODI, Escapes Whitewash

Update: 2020-12-02 14:20 GMT
The men in blue, led by Virat Kohli escaped whitewash from the Kangaroo team by winning the last and third One Day match by 13 runs in Canberra on Wednesday, with a team effort.

India won the toss and opted to bat first. Though skipper Kohli produced a brilliant half-century, top order Shikhar Dhawan (16), KL Rahul (5), and Shreyas Iyer failed miserably on the batting pitch.

After losing Kohli's wicket, India was in deep trouble. It appeared like India will not even add 250 plus runs to the scoreboard. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja made a record 150-run partnership and guided India to a score of 302.

While chasing the target of 303, Australia lost the early wickets of Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, and Moises Constantino. When Aaron Finch looked dangerous Ravindra Jadeja took his wicket.

In the end, Jasprit Bumrah turned the match by cleaning up Glenn Maxwell. After he got out, Australia lost the remaining wickets and was all-out for 289 in 49.3 overs.
