Team PK surveys North Andhra: YSRCP MLAs, MPs jittery

Update: 2021-10-14 13:34 GMT
Team Prashant Kishor, which is currently working in North Andhra to understand the public perception of the sitting MLAs, MPs and MLCs, is said to have suggested that at least 60 per cent of the sitting MLAs should be replaced in the 2024 elections. While there is no official confirmation of this, this is giving anxious moments to the sitting MLAs who are now feeling insecure about their position.

Team PK usually assesses the public perception of the sitting MLAs before suggesting strategies. In West Bengal, Prashant Kishor advised Mamta to replace 35 MLAs, about whom there was negative feedback from the people. Mamta complied  and reaped rich benefits. In AP too, PK has suggested several names ahead of the 2019 elections and Jagan followed them faithfully. The result was there for all to see.

Sources say that preliminarily, PK has suggested that 60 MLAs need to be replaced in the state as they are having negative feedback from the people. They include some ministers and MPs too. Since most of these MLAs have won only because of YS Jagan's image, it would be easy to replace them, sources said.
Hence the MLAs and ministers are jittery. With the cabinet reshuffle round the corner, the ministers are als cagey. Sources say that some MLAs have already approached the team PK to get a favourable assessment for them so that they can keep their seats.
