Uber cab driver raping a 25-Year-Old Woman in the national capital is creating sensation and as per reports the cab service is banned in Telangana state.
The decision was announced by Telangana transport commisioner Jagadeshwar reddy who said that Uber services are banned in 10 districts of the state.The decision of state Government comes after Union government advised all states to ban the cab service .
State Road Transport officials made it clear Uber service not having permission from Regional Transport Authority (RTA) and hence it was not allowed to operate in state. Officials advised people to refrain from hiring the app-based cab service.
Special teams of Road Transport Authority (RTA) and police launched a crackdown on Uber and other service operating illegally and seized many vehicles. Cyberanbad Police Commisioner requested people not to book in such cabs and travel in them. He confirmed that a strict drive will be conducted to put a check to such unregistered cab services in Telangana State
