Telangana Congress letting the golden opportunity go from its hands!

Update: 2021-02-15 14:49 GMT
The Century plus old Congress party is going through a rough phase at the national level and Telangana as well. The series of election defeats made things even uglier for the party in the state.

Amid this, Congress got a wonderful opportunity to gain strength in the state in the form of union government's controversial Farm Bills. However, the party failed to capitalise on it.

Unlike other leaders from the Telangana wing of Congress, Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy has started a Paaadayatra against the bills. Though the Paadayatra got a massive response from the Congress activists and farmers, there is no support from the fellow T Congress leaders.

Rather than supporting Revanth Reddy's Paadayatra, the other leaders are busy with their personal activities and campaign, which in turn resulted in the yatra not receiving the much-needed boost.

Other noted leaders from the Telangana Congress wing, Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy, Bhuvanagiri MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are busy with their personal campaigns.

Media reports claimed that the Telangana leaders didn't respond positively to the call given by Revanth Reddy to take part in the public meeting in Ravirala on Tuesday against the controversial Farm Bills.

This is the golden opportunity for Congress to regain its strength in Telangana. Let us wait and see how the party grabs the opportunity. It's interesting to know how Revanth Reddy leads the public meeting.
