A Hyderabadi man tested positive not only left the Telangana government in worry but also the Karnataka government as it started to track down all those who were believed to come in contact with the engineer who is 25-year old.
The Health Minister of the Karnataka state B Sriramulu has directed a medical team to monitor the health condition of all those people who have come in contact with the coronavirus patient hailing from Telangana.
Sriramulu took to Twitter to announce the measures taken by their government to stop the deadly virus spread in the state."It has come to our knowledge that the coronavirus-hit person in Hyderabad had gone from Bengaluru. Therefore, all the members in the house where he had stayed here have been identified and are under watch," read his Tweet.
He went on to say that he will hold a meeting with the additional chief secretary, commissioner and other senior officials of the health department to discuss the additional measures that have to be taken.
Despite knowing the fact that the patient did not catch the virus in Bengaluru, the Karnataka government doesnât want to take any undue risks and is taking all the required precautionary measures.
