We won't arrest Drug Addicts: Akun Sabarwal

Telangana Excise & Enforcement Department Director Akun Sabarwal spoke to media after the arrest of four more drug peddlers in Hyderabad. The total count of people arrested in connection with this case has gone up to Seven now.

Akun Sabarwal: '3 out of 4 people who are taken into custody are B.Tech Students, The other one is working for a leading Gaming Company. All of them have been supplying drugs'.

'Only those who can spend Rs 4,000 per week have the possibility of using drugs. Students of some of the Top Schools and Colleges have been addicted to drugs. Keeping their future in mind, We neither want to disclose their names nor arrest them. Those who were addicted need to confess it to their family members or teachers to correct the mistake'.

'In the first stage, We are focusing on schools and colleges. Later, We would shift focus to Film Personalities and IT Employees. All the details regarding supply of drugs have been collected from gang members'.
