The Telangana Cabinet met for a key meeting on Tuesday under the leadership of Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao and discussed various issues including Lockdown and the Inter exams.
Now the state government announced that the Second Year Intermediate exams will be canceled in the wake of Corona situations. A circular from the government on what basis will the students get evaluated is awaited from the government.
Earlier, the Telangana government had decided to cancel class 10 exams and Inter First Year Exams given the Covid scare. Now the second-year exams were also canceled.
As per the earlier schedule, the Inter board exams were scheduled to be held between May 1 and 19. Before postponing the exams, the State Inter Board said new exam dates would be announced after reviewing the situation.
As the lockdown restrictions are in place and the Covid fear is not over yet, the government had opted to do away with the Intermediate Board exams.
