MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi came down heavily on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan while addressing a public meeting in Maharashtra during his campaign for Bandra East by-election.
Without mentioning the name of Salman Khan, Owaisi said: "He was driving under the influence of alcohol and rammed his car on to the footpath where poor people were sleeping. Now, He says it wasn't him who was driving. How many more poor people have to die?".
Of course, The Hyderabad MP lashed out at Salman Khan in the past as well. Raising objection to Salman Khan flying kytes with BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi before the general elections, Owaisi described Salman as a 'nachne gaane waala' and compared him with Salman Rushdie who is the author of the controversial book Satanic Verses.
