Telangana continues to fear the ongoing pandemic, as the state has been reporting over 2,000 fresh cases daily for a few weeks. With the latest addition of the cases, total infections rose to over 1.83 lakh.
In the last 24 hours,58,925 samples were tested in the state and 2239 patients were found infected with the virus. So far, a total of 1,83,866 patients were diagnosed in the state.
Along with 2,000 fresh cases, Telangana has been reporting over 2,000 on a daily basis giving hopes of containing the virus spread in the state,
In a single day, 2,281 patients have beaten the virus, taking the toll of the total recoveries to 1,52,441. The recovery rate in the state mounted to a whopping 82.90 percent, which is higher than Indian's recovery rate. There are 30,334 active cases in the state.
With 11 fresh casualties, the total fatalities in connection with the ongoing pandemic rose to 1,091. Telangana has a mortality rate of 0.59 percent, less than India's mortality rate.
