Day after witnessing the highest spike of cases in a single day, Telangana reported over 2,700 fresh cases in the last 24 hours which takes the toll of the total cases in the state to over 1.14 lakh
In the last 24 hours, Telangana reported as many as 2,795 fresh Coronavirus infections and the total infections mounted to 1,14,483. With 8 fresh casualties, the total fatalities zoomed to 788 with a fatality rate of 0.68 percent.
As per the information provided by the Health bulletin, 60,386 samples were tested for the virus and 2,795 infections were detected. So far, 11,42,480 samples have been tested in the state.
On the other hand, 872 patients managed to recover from the dreaded virus in the last 24 hours and the total recoveries rose to 86095. This translates to a 75.2 percent recovery rate. The active cases stood at 27600.
