A new positive case of the novel corona virus was reported from Hyderabad which takes the toll of the positive cases in Telangana to four as per the official records. The state government has involved itself in the preparedness to stop the spread of the virus.
Going into details, a 46-year-old patient who had arrived from Scotland on March 12 was tested positive for the deadly virus. Following this, 11 primary contacts who were believed to be contacted with the patient were been tested.
Telangana Health Minister Eatal Rajender has visited the Gandhi Hospital where the three positive patients of COVID-19 have been undergoing treatment. He spoke to them and asked them to stay strong.
"Minister Rajender also spoke to the family members of the patients to enquirer whether they are completely healthy and doing well. The Minister also checked if they were getting proper medical services at Gandhi Hospital. He also spoke to the patients and took suggestions on what amenities could be added and asked the superintendent of Gandhi Hospital to cater to all their needs," Rajender said in his statement.
"We have noticed that the people are taking the concept of self-reporting seriously. They are not waiting too long to report any form of symptoms in case they have a travel history. They are reporting the symptoms to their family doctors, who are asking them to immediately call the Corona virus helpline," top rank health official of Telangana said.
