Mega Power Star Ram Charans better half Upasana uncle and TRS candidate from Chevella Lok Sabha seat, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is the richest politician in Telangana.
He has declared that his family has assets worth over Rs 528 crore making him the richest politician in Telangana. In an affidavit submitted to the EC, Mr Reddy has sworn that he has assets worth 528 crores in the form of cash, gold ornaments, shares in various firms and immovable property.
He declared that he holds assets worth 171,72,69,324, his wife Sangeetha Reddy, who is also the MD of Apollo Hospitals, has assets worth 243,27,40,262 and his three sons together hold assets worth 63,90,60,724.He disclosed that a major part of his assets comprise shares in Apollo Hospitals.
He also has 50 acres of agriculture land, residence and commercial buildings in Banjara Hills.
Vishweshwar is son- in-law of Pratap C Reddy of Apollo Hospitals. Reddys father K. Madhava Reddy was Chief Justice of AP High court and his grandfather was noted freedom fighter and Telangana leader K.V. Ranga Reddy, on whose name Ranga Reddy district was named.
However, according to his affidavit, none of the family members own a personal car or other vehicles.
