Rs 1.8 Crore worth FLAG for T-Formation Day

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is determined to installed Country's biggest tricolor flag in Hyderabad on the eve of Telangana State's 2nd Birthday, June 2nd this year. The flag is said to be worth Rs 1.8 crore.

The only hurdle would be an approval from Airports Authority of India (AAI). Such large flags could disturb the movement of air traffic and hence the delay.

If TRS Government gets the green signal, Then a 303 feet (92.35 metros) tricolor flag will be hoisted at the Sanjeevaiah Park. The 72 feet by 108 feet flag is made of polyester was brought from Mumbai and it weighs 92 kgs. This would be around 10 metres bigger than the flag at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

State Government has procured four more similar flags for replacement incase of any kind of damage.
