The deadly Coronavirus has entered the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat. The employees of the Secretariat are fearing the rapid spread of the virus as several employees were infected with the virus.
The rise in casualties caused by the Covid in the Secretariat is inculcating fear in the employees' minds. With the Section Officer working in the labour department breathing his last with the virus, the Covid-19 casualties in the AP secretariat rose to five.
The second wave of Covid has hit the administrative office so hard. As a result, several employees have tested positive for Covid-19. While some of them are undergoing treatment, few employees are in isolation currently.
The remaining employees are fearing to go to the office to exercise their duties, as they are worried that, they might also come in contact with the contagious respiratory disease.
On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh reported more than 10,000 new cases since the second wave of the virus has started. On April 22, Andhra Pradesh reported not less than 10,759 fresh infections.
In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh recorded 29 fresh casualties, taking the total Covid-19 casualties in the state to 7541. There are 66,944 active cases in the state.
