The Expert Panel On Capital Finally Met Jagan

In a quick turn of events, the expert committee which was set up for the Capital development has met AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and submitted a report on it.

The committee, led by GN Rao has submitted its report which reportedly favors the decentralization of development.

It has been reported that the committee recommended having three capitals for executive, legislature and Judiciary, which was announced by Jagan Mohan Reddy in the state Assembly.

The committee also comprises experts of urbanization, town planning, and the environment has also studied the previous recommendations of the Sivarama Krishnan committee in the capital recommendations.

It has been widely reported that the committee headed by retired IAS officer GN Rao has reportedly found out that during the regime of the previous TDP government the expenditure of the existing buildings in the Amaravati region is a massive burden on the state which is running out of funds.

After studying the report CM will then take a call on the Capital city. The state cabinet will reportedly hold a decision on Dec 24 on this.
