Update: 2015-09-26 09:03 GMT

Family Members of former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri suspect his death in the year 1965 mayn't have been due to natural causes.

Lal Bahadur Shastri's Son Anil Shahtri alleges that the Indian Embassy was careless when his father's death took place. He urged Narendra Modi Government to declassify all the files related to his Father and order a Probe into the matter. "People believe Lal Bahadur Shastri's death wasn't natural as his face had gone blue and his diary went missing. His room in Tashkent didn't even have a telephone or bell. This indicates Indian Embassy was careless," he alleges.

Apparently, Lal Bahadur Shastri passed away in Tashkent after signing the Tashkent Pact. Lot of doubts have been raised about his sudden demise as he is physically fit by then and also hasn't been suffering from any kind of heart disease. There are allegations that crucial evidence pertaining to the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri's were destroyed.
