This IPL Franchise To Terminate Contractual Relationships with Two Players
Days before the inaugural match of the 13th edition of IPL, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise faced a super blow after middle-order batsman Suresh Raina pulled out of this edition citing personal reasons.
Ace Spinner Harbhajan Singh too backed out of the Twenty20 cricket league for the 2020 edition due to some personal reasons.
Amid this, some reports claim that the team management has decided to end all the contractual relationships with Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh.
If the news appears to be true, both the players will not receive ant salary for this edition. The franchise inked a deal with Suresh Raina for a whopping Rs 11 crore per year.
On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh joined the Chennai team in 2018 with an annual deal of Rs 2 crore. The players will lose this salary.
Earlier, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has removed the names of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh from the team's official website after the players pulled out of the tournament.
