This Is How BJP-Jana Sena Plans Are Upset

Update: 2021-01-27 04:42 GMT
The sudden announcement of elections and the nod from the Apex Court have dampened the BJP and Jana Sena in Andhra Pradesh. Both the parties wanted to take advantage of the issue of temple attacks and announced a state-wide Ratha Yatra. The yatra was to begin from Kapilateertham in Tirupati and end at Ramateertham, where the deity was defiled by miscreants. Leaders like Pawan Kalyan and Somu Veerraju were to address as part of this Rath Yatra.

Now that the panchayat election schedule was released and there is rush to file the nominations, the BJP and the Jana Sena have abandoned the idea of a Rath Yatra. The two parties are now busy with finalizing seat sharing and other issues. The two parties are finding themselves completely unprepared for the panchayat election. They have planned for Rath Yatra and for Tirupati bypolls. But, they had no finalized plan for the local bodies.

The BJP has announced that the Rath Yatra would be taken out after the local body polls. However, will the issue be relevant after the elections? Moreover, with the Tirupati bypolls round the corner, will they be able to take out a yatra anytime in the future?
