This Is Real Game Plan Of BJP In Bihar

Update: 2020-11-12 11:30 GMT
It is now emerging that young Tejaswi Yadav of Bihar could not understand tested war horse Narendra Modi . Modi has quite early realized that there was anti-incumbency against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. So, he has decided to split the anti-Nitish votes. It is to offset the anti-Nitish feeling that the BJP asked LJP of Chirag Paswan to walkout of the NDA.

By walking out of NDA and targeting only Nitish Kumar, the LJP has successfully split the anti-Nitish vote. The LPJ contested only against Nitish Kumar's JDU and did not put up candidates against the BJP. There was no need to split the votes in the constituencies contested by the BJP. So, only seats with JDU candidates were targeted. As a result, the anti-JDU votes were split and the JDU managed to scrape through with smaller margins.

Neither the media nor the Opposition could understand this game plan. Modi did not allow a consolidation of the anti-NDA votes. Without understanding this, the Opposition miscalculated Modi's acumen. The end result?  Pro-BJP votes consolidated behind the BJP, anti-Nitish votes were divided between MIM-BSP, LJP and the grand alliance or Mahagathbandhan.  This has rescued the JDU and helped it to tide over anti-JDU mood. Before the opposition realized, the game was over in Bihar.
