This Is The Condition Of Villages Adopted By CM Himself

When a chief minister adopts a village, one expects the village to develop by leaps and bounds. One expects all state-of-the-art facilities to be available there. All amenities are expected to be provided.

But, all the three villages adopted by Telangana Chief Minister KCR are in dire straits. Several facilities are found wanting and there are several amenities still to be provided. KCR had adopted Muduchintalapalli, Laxmapur and Keshavaram villages in 2017. Even after three years, the village map has not been prepared for Laxmapur.Only 301 out of the 1504 accounts have been given the pattadar passbooks and there are complaints galore about wrong entries and faulty data. Despite complaints, they have not been rectified. The last three Rythubandhu payments have not been made in this village. Though Rs 15 crore have been sanctioned to the village, the developmental works could be taken up in the village.

There are also complaints that the farmers' insurance scheme is not being implemented. Though 150 double-bedroom houses have been sanctioned, no work could be taken up so far. The situation in the other two villages too is no different. Senior Congress leader and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy has written a letter to District Collector Shweta Mohanti to highlight the plight of the three villages. Let's see if this letter will have any effort on the government.
