We are aware that Kona Venkat has conducted a workshop for the aspiring writers and directors at NATS in Dallas. The workshop has come to an end now and the star writer was happy with the way it went on.

After the completion of 'Thought To Theatre' workshop, Kona thanks all the passionate participants and hopeful that his views on Script Writing & Film Making would inspire at least one of them to become a writer or director in Telugu Film Industry. He even expressed his wish to hold more such workshops in India very soon.

Kona named the training program as 'Thought to Theatre' and divided it into five parts:

1) Developing an idea - Teaches how an idea can be moulded into a commercial script;

2) Piching: The art of convincing actors and producers;

3) Budgeting and Pre-production: Budget based on script and how one can save money with good pre-production;

4) Direction: Teaches how one shouldn't direct and practicalities of direction;

5) Marketing and Releasing: The art of taking the film to audience and finding buyers.

Kona Venkat will be soon making his directorial debut and anyone among Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun might play the lead. Wish this most celebrated Tollywood writer a good luck for the new journey!
