Major development took place in Andhra Pradesh with Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan giving his consent to the three major bills sent to him by the government.
Following this, some media reports claim that the opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) which has been battling to have Amaravati proposed by the party as the capital of Andhra Pradesh oppose the move.
It has been widely reported that 20 lawmakers of TDP including party supremo Chandrababu Naidu resign from their post as a bid to oppose the latest development in this regard.
Reportedly, the TDP lawmakers will meet Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan at the Raj Bhavan tomorrow and submit their resignation letters.
The other day Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan approved three much talked-about bills-AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill, 2020, and the AP Capital Region Development Authority (Repeal) Bill, 2020.
