Telangana Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao recently attended 'Vana Bhojanam' organized by Kamma Community. The comments made by the Cabinet Minister addressing the gathering has really stunned the general public.
Thummala began his speech saying, 'Brahma offered everything for Kammas so that they rule in every field. When Other Castes found fault with him for doing so, Brahma gave an assurance that he could only ensure two kammas never cooperate with each other. Still, Kammas continued to be a dominant force. None of the Kammas should bring a division among us for political gains or any other reason. Being born as a kamma itself is a god given gift. Be it in AP or Telangana, Khammam is the district where the percentage of Kammas is more. Wherever we might be, We keep the prestige of Kamma Community in our mind'.
Majority of the people expressed the feeling that Thummala has crossed the limit to get into the good books of his Community.
