A Trinamool Congress leader in West Bengal courted controversy by making sensational comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Trinamool Congress leader Idris Ali made an insensitive comment linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the recent terror attack at Pathankot air base.
The MP who is well known for making controversial statements has alleged that the attack on the Air Force base in Pathankot occurred because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has connections with terrorists.Ali said that the Pathankot attack occurred just a few days after PM's Lahore visit and suspected Prime Minister to have links with terrorists.
"I feel Modi has links with terrorists which is why Pathankot terror attack took place. Why did the attack happen right after his visit to Pakistan? This is my personal opinion," Ali alleged.
Recently he was in news for stating that Bengal will burn if CM Mamata Banerjee was arrested by the CBI in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam. Meanwhile Trinamool Congress distanced themselves from Ali's statements.
