TMC worried with MP meeting Amit Shah!

Update: 2021-01-15 14:16 GMT
The much-anticipated and talked-about Assembly elections in West Bengal, 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections are expected to be held any time soon.

The polls will offer a direct face-off between the ruling All India Trinamool Congress(TMC) and saffron party BJP in the upcoming elections. To make the Bengal scenario quite interesting, several TMC leaders have joined the BJP.

TMC MP Shatabdi Roy, who earlier openly raised her voice over the issues she has been facing with the ruling party dropped a bomb over her problems with the ruling party.

Adding fuel to reports of her taking the route of fellow TMC leaders to join the BJP party, the MP reportedly met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which raised many speculations.

The MP backed her meeting with Home Minister and said there is nothing harm in meeting the Home Minister as she is an MP and he is the Home Minister, according to ANI.

Reports of the MP meeting Amit Shah emerged when Shatabdi Roy is not happy with the party and leaders after she was not invited by the party for an event held in her own constituency.

The MP reportedly said the distance between the party leadership and her is growing with each day passing. She alleged the role of a few party leaders in widening the gap between her and the party.

While the TMC is worrying about losing one more potential leader, the West Bengal wing of the BJP is very happy with one after the other leaders joining the party giving a major morale boost to BJP.
