Update: 2020-08-17 12:19 GMT
The border tensions between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) continues to escalate with dragon country China not stepping back despite the meetings held by the high-profile Military personnel of both sides.

Amid this tense situation, some media reports claim that top-level Political and Military leaders of India are gearing up for a crucial meeting at national capital Delhi.

If we have to take anything from the media reports, the crucial meeting was chaired to take a call on how to teach China a lesson for its aggressive behavior along the LOC.

It has been reported that National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister, S Jaishankar, and Army Chief General M M Naravane will be attending the meeting.

Since the last three months, Chinese troops have been encamping in the Finger area, and on top of that Chinese troops were also deployed at the long-range artillery.

The border tensions with China reached peak level after a violent standoff took place between both the troops at the Galwan Valley of Eastern Ladakh which resulted in 20 Indian soldiers martyred by the Chinese troops.
