Total Administration Should Be At One Place: Venkaiah Naidu

Update: 2019-12-25 12:08 GMT
With AP CM Jagan announcing in the State Assembly that the state will have three capitals for the ease of governance and the decentralization of development farmers of the capital region, Amaravati has hit the roads opposing the CM’s idea.

The protests are turning violent day by day. Vice President of India responded to this dispute and said that in his opinion the entire administration must be at a single place that enables efficient governance.

He recently attended an event organized by the Swarna Bharati Trust in the Krishna District. Post the event he had a casual talk with the media.''With all my 41 years of political experience, I opine that Chief Minister, High Court, Secretariat and the entire system should be at one place. This makes things easy for a government,'' he said.

Interestingly, Mr. Naidu asked the media to not consider his comments in political perspective as he made these comments seeing the unrest and protests in the state.

''If the centre asks my opinion on 'Three Capitals' I would definitely say what I would like to,'' Mr. Naidu added.
