TRS future plan: Vijayashanti out, Kavitha in!

Update: 2013-04-05 06:59 GMT
Differences with Medak MP Vijayashanti might force TRS chief KCR to sack her from the party ahead of 2014 general elections.

Reportedly, KCR who is a sitting MP of Mahabubnagar is planning to contest the next polls from Medak constituency itself.

On the other hand, KCR's daughter and Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha will also be contesting the Assembly polls. She choose the Nizamabad constituency for her debut into active politics. KCR would formally announce Kavitha's candidature in party formation day celebrations at Armur of Nizamabad on April 27th.

"At present, Nizamabad is in the grip of anti-Telangana leaders (TDP MLAs). A strong leader like Kavitha could fight the odds to win the trust of people here," says Vinod Kumar, former MP and TRS politburo member.

Kavita claimed that her family is not craving for power, but she choose to contest the polls as it's the time to achieve Telangana statehood through political power.
