TRS Govt To Acquire Film Nagar's Daiva Sannidhanam

Telangana government has decided to acquire the famous film nagar daiva sannidhanam temple. Secretary to government, revenue (endowments) issued a notification in this regard. The endowments department earlier issued notices to the temple's committee and as there was no response government decided to register on Sumoto basis.

The temple is famous among film celebrities. Daiva Sannidhanam is a place where a cluster of Gods and Goddesses are invoked. Built by the Film Industry, the temple is under the management of Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham of Swamy Swaroopanandanendra Saraswathi. In 2012 there was some differences among the board members and government ordered for an enquiry.As the temple was built on government land now endowments department has decided to acquire it.

Till his death a few months ago, noted producer VB Rajendra Prasad (father of actor Jaganpathi Babu) looking after the temple's day-to-day administration.Telugu Movie Artist Association (MAA) has recently performed  Amruta Pasupata Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam in Filmnagar Daiva Sannidhanam temple under supervision of Jagadguru Swarupanandendra.
