Record majority for Tummala in Paleru

TRS Candidate Tummala Nageswara Rao won Paleru Assembly By-Election by a record margin of 45,676 votes. Out of Total Votes poled (1,71,061), TRS Candidate Tummala & Congress Candidate Sucharitha Reddy received 94,978 votes and 49,302 votes respectively. Whereas, Left Parties Candidate Pothineni Sudarshan managed to get 15,544 votes.

Responding on the verdict, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said: "Till date, No Candidate won with a margin of over 25,000 votes in Paleru. Tummala created record by winning with more than 45,000 votes. The people's mandate is based on TRS 2 years rule".

Tummala Nageswara Rao: "I thank people of Paleru Assembly Segment for this memorable victory. I will work hard to make Paleru a model constituency in Khammam district".
