TRS posters spring up everywhere in Varanasi, KCR to campaign on Friday
The people of Varanasi woke up to huge pink-coloured posters across the city skyline on Thursday. The posters announced the arrival of Telangana CM KCR on Friday to the city.
And why is he coming? He is going to campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Several flexi banners have sprung up in Varanasi highlighting the policies and programmes of the Telangana government.
The posters have also spoken about the welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and Dalit Bandhu which benefit the farmers.
While KCR's image is the largest, there are also images of KTR, Vemula Prashant Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar.
The posters welcome KCR to Varanasi to campaign against Narendra Modi and the BJP.
Several key leaders such as Mamta Banerjee, Deve Gowda, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar and film actor Prakash Raj too are set to campaign on Friday.
The TRS workers, leaders and those belonging to various regional parties have made the images of these posters and banners go viral on the social media.
The Telugu speaking netizens are sharing these images with their friends and relations in a big way. Polling for the Varanasi region would be held on March 7.
