Trujet Airlines operated by Turbo Megha Airways Pvt Ltd launched it's first commercial flight on July 12th, 2015. Since then, This low-cost regional airline based at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad has achieved phenomenal growth. So far, Flights Services has been extended to 12 cities (AP - Vijayawada, Tirupati, Rajahmundry, Kadapa; Goa; Karnataka: Mysore, Bellary; Maharashtra: Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nanded; Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Salem). Trujet is the only Airline to operate in the Hyderabad to Aurangabad route. On an average, It's been taking around 2,000 fliers per day to their preferred destinations. 10 lakh people across the nation have travelled in Trujet within just two years.
Pricing of Trujet is very nominal and convenient. Base price of the ticket is just Rs 599 at times when bus ticket to the same destination cost over thousand rupees. Senthil Raja who is the head of Commercial at Trujet Airlines confirmed, 'Under Centre's UDAN Scheme, Trujet obtained necessary clearances to operate flights to 20 other routes. Flights will be operated from Ahmedabad to Porbandar, Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, Nashik and Jagavla in Maharashtra, Burhanpur, Kuchmibehar, Tezu, Tezpur in North-East States. We are going to start services from Chennai in Tamil Nadu from March 25th'.
Currently, Trujet is operating five flights. About seven new aircrafts will be brought now to extend services to more number of fliers.
