TruJet, Indian regional airline based at Hyderabad's RGIA, came forward to offer helping hand to the Kerala Flood Victims. The Airline offered 3-day free service to transport passengers stranded in Kerala to Chennai and Hyderabad. In addition, Flood Relief Material will be transported to Kerala free of cost during this period.
TruJet CEO Vishokman Sing informed that Medicines, Clothes and Food supplied by Governments and Voluntary Organisations will be transported from Hyderabad and Chennai to Kerala capital Trivandrum. The flight starts at 7.30 pm in Hyderabad upon collecting Flood Relief Material from Telangana Government on August 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala Government will coordinate in the preparation of the list of passengers to be shifted on TruJet Airlines. On a daily basis, 6 tonnes of food supplies, medicines and clothes with be carried to Kerala. During the return journey, 65 passengers will be brought back to Chennai and Hyderabad.
