The TRS Government launched Dalit Bandhu scheme to empower the Dalit community in the state. However, the scheme has been facing criticism from the opposition parties and activists.

The Dalit Bandhu scheme reached the High Court after watch voice of the people organization moved the Court with a PIL saying that the scheme was brought for political gains.

The organisation also said that the scheme was rolled out without proper guidelines and there is no clarity on the criteria for the selection of beneficiaries.

Appearing for the government, Advocate BS Prasad said that the scheme is applicable for all the beneficiaries in the state.

The bench of Telangana High Court comprising Chief Justice Hima Kohli and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy directed the government to upload the details of Dalit Bandhu scheme in Official website within 24 hours.

With the Telangana High Court issuing directives to upload the details of G.O in 24 hours, everyone's attention turned towards Andhra Pradesh.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh government had decided that the G.O's should not be uploaded to the official websites.

Everyone is discussing what will the Andhra Pradesh High Court say if the GO issue reaches the court.

The Andhra Pradesh government had a problematic track record of facing back to back shocks over its policies and decisions. The G.O issue might get added to the list of issues in which the High Court pulled the government.
