Dharani portal Row: High Court Gives A Nod To Register Non-Agricultural Lands In Portal

Dharani Portal, the flagship scheme, launched by the Telangana government led by Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao has been facing issues in the state High Court.

The problems for DHraani Portal continued further after the Telangana High Court, which heard the petitions filed against the portal said that it cannot stay the registrations.

The High Court said the registrations can be carried out in the previous style/ The court gave its green signal to register the non-agricultural lands through the Dharani portal.

The Court also said, to register the lands in the Dharani portal, a slot has to be booked before registration. Income Tax and survey number have to be produced without a fail.

The High Court, which heard the petitions on the eights of this month said, the registrations should be done in the old method. Now the court gave an exemption to the non-agriculture lands.

The next hearing, in this case, was adjourned to the sixteenth of this month. The High Court directed the state government to file a counter affidavit on the Dharani case.
