It has also become unavoidable that things are compared between Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Whenever something happens immediately a comparison comes into place. When Telangana got good investments at the Davos, people started a discussion on how fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh fared at attracting investments. Not just good things, but the bad things are also compared.

The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is under severe criticism for the hike in various charges including the electricity charges. An MLA surprised everyone by blaming the Russia-Ukraine war for this. The TDP started 'Badude Badudu' programme to highlight how the government is increasing charges.

Looks like the Telangana government is no less in hiking the charges. The state road transport body shocked the students by increasing bus pass fares. The revised prices will make the bus pass twice as costly as the usual amount which will have a burden on students.

Reports say that the general bus pass which used to be Rs 215 per month was increased to Rs 470. Students' bus pass was increased to Rs 400 and Rs 1200 for one-month and three-month validity respectively. Even the route passes fare was also increased.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) said that the hike in Diesel prices is forcing them to go for the hikes. It has to be mentioned here that, earlier the RTC went for a price hike twice blaming the Covid impact.
