Former Deputy General Secretary of AIADMK TTV Dinakaran was granted bail by a Delhi Court on Thursday. The case was related to the bribe offered to Election Commission Officials for AIADMK's Two Leaves Party Symbol.
A Delhi Court granted bail to Dinakaran and his close aide Mallikarjun on personal bond of Rs 5 lakh. The two accused were asked to submit their passports in the court.
Earlier, Delhi Cops opposed bail plea of middleman Sukesh Chandrasekhar citing several pending cases against him.
During the questioning, TTV Dinakaran accepted that he met Sukesh Chandrasekhar after cops gathered enough evidence. He, however, denied offering money to Sukesh for AIADMK party symbol. Cops found out that Dinakaran offered to pay Rs 50 crore if two-leaves symbol was granted to Sasikala's Camp instead of O Panneerselvam's faction.
