A TV actress and two sex workers were caught red handed in police raids conducted on two brothels in the city on Sunday.
Upon receiving clear information about the prostitution racket, Banjara Hills police has conducted a raid at Pragati Nagar in Yellareddyguda and arrested the 22-year-old TV Serial actress and an other woman too. In an another raid on the same day, a sex worker who was in her early 20s was rescued and shifted to government state home.
The organiser of the brothel (Lokesh) and a customer Pawan were taken into custody. Cases were registered against the accused under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
