More than a hundred companies around the world are working round-the-clock to find a safe, effective and affordable vaccine against Covid-19. Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum-Ipsos survey has revealed that one in four adults globally does not want to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
The survey conducted on 20,000 adults from 27 countries revealed that 74 per cent respondents are ready to get a vaccine for COVID-19 if it is available, and the rest of the people are not confident on an effective vaccine and they apprehend about side-effects.
The proportion of such people is much less at about 13 per cent in India. On the other side, 59 per cent participated in the survey do not expect that vaccine will be available before the end of this year.
