Twitter Inc is seriously considering improvisation of the existing 140 character limit to a maximum of 10,000 characters only to make the social networking site more user friendly.
Notably, Twitter wishes to retain the current look of its timeline and hence only 140 character will be displayed even if the tweet was lengthy. Only upon clicking on the tweet or Re/code, Rest of the content will be visible to the user.
