The positive cases of novel coronavirus are increasing day by day in Telangana creating many concerns and panic among people. With two more cases reporting on Friday, the toll of positive cases in the state has now reached 18. The same was confirmed by the Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender.
"Two more cases were reported in the state. None of the patients were in a fatal situation. Those who returned from foreign have symptoms of the virus. 6 more corona labs will be set up in Telangana. We are well equipped with quarantine thousands of people," the Minister said.
"If there is an emergency, we will see then...The more precautions we take, the better. There needs to be self-discipline and self-hygiene among people. We have demanded to ban all international flights. We will demand this in our video conference," CM KCR said.
The government institutions like Fever Hospital, Institute of Preventive Medicine, Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, and Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal were being used for conducting tests.
