Two more coronavirus positive cases reported in Telangana taking the total toll of coronavirus patients in India to 28. Samples of them have been sent to Pune's National Institute of Virology (NIV) for medical tests.
The first-ever positive case of COVID-19 in Telangana was reported a few days ago. The techie who was tested positive is undergoing some medications at the Gandhi Hospital.
Though the samples of two new patients were tested positive after the examinations at Gandhi Hospital, the authorities have sent their samples to the NIV for confirmation to make sure that they donât take any chance.
"Two samples are being sent to NIV, Pune for further testing. The report is expected tomorrow. They are being kept in isolation at Gandhi Hospital," Director of Public Health and Family Welfare said.
The official went on to say that 47 samples were tested for corona and 45 out of them were found negative for coronavirus and they were discharges and directed by the authorities to follow strict home isolation for not less than 14 days.
