Guntur continues to be the worst-hit district in Andhra Pradesh as the death count of COVID-19 in the district as two fresh deaths of the novel coronavirus were reported.
The official data states that 35 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours which takes the total cases of COVID-19 in the state to 757 ringing the danger bells.
Out of the 35 fresh cases, 10 cases were reported in Kurnool, while Guntur, Kadapa, Krishna, Anantapur district reported 9, 6 and 3 each case respectively. West Godavari district also reported 4 new cases.
96 patients have discharged until now and 22 have succumbed to the fatal virus in the state. The authorities have been treating the 639 which were declared as the active cases.
The positive cases of coronavirus in India reached 18,601 with 1336 cases reporting in the country in the past 24 hours. Till date 590 has succumbed to the dreaded virus.
