The political drama in Maratha land which lasted for one month taking unexpected shocks and twists will end on a happy note today with the swearing-in ceremony of Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray as the 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

With this, Uddhav will become the third leader from Shiv Sena to be the CM. Earlier, Manohar Joshi and Narayan Rane became CMs from the party.

"Uddhav Thackeray ji is not only his father but also chief minister. He will take the decision," Sanjay Raut said.

"Today is a historic day," Sanjay Raut said ahead of Uddhav Thackeray's swearing-in later in the day. He said this is going to have a ripple effect on the politics of the country. "We are expecting leaders from across party lines," Sanjay Raut observed.

"It is upto Sharad Pawar to decide. I don't know, it is NCP's matter. Sharad Pawar is senior-most leader of 'Maha Vikas Aghadi'. What post should be given to Ajit Pawar or someone else in his party, will be decided by him," he added.
