UK Surpasses one lakh mark in Covid-19 fatalities, PM takes the responsibility

Many nations across the globe have started vaccination drive in the respective countries to tackle the deadly outbreak of the novel Coronavirus. However, the vaccination drives failed to curb the Coronavirus infections.

The fresh infections across the nations continue to increase, raising many fears about the spread of the virus. The global count of the Coronavirus has surpassed the mammoth 10 million mark.

According to the information collected by the Johns Hopkins University(JHU), in the past 24 hours, not less than 5.28 lakh fresh infections were registered across the cases, which takes the global count of the cases to 100,213,452, while more than 2.1 million patients have succumbed to the virus.

The US, India, Brazil, Russia, and the UK are the five worst-hit countries globally with the Covid-19 outbreak. These five nations account for nearly 70 percent of the global caseload of Coronavirus.

The United Kingdom is facing the wrath of the spread of the new variant of the Coronavirus pandemic as the infections and fatalities related to the pandemic are increasing rapidly.

The fatalities related to the Covid-19 have surpassed the 100,000-mark in the United Kingdom, making it the only European country to register these many fatalities.

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for a press conference to announce the sad news of more than 1,00,000 patients losing their lives to the pandemic. He expressed condolences to the victims.

The Prime Minister has expressed his regret over the lives lost to the pandemic in the nation and said that as a PM he takes the responsibility that has happened in the country.
