UK Vaccination Drive: Royal Couple Gets Their Vaccine Dose!

The Drug Controller of the United Kingdom permitted three vaccines for emergency use in the nation. Due to fear of getting vaccinated, a majority of people are not showing interest to get vaccinated.

To keep an end to the speculations surrounding the safety offered by the vaccines, the royal couple of Britain,  Queen Elizabeth, and her husband Philip received their vaccines on Saturday.

It is said that the Couple received the vaccination dose at the queen's Windsor Castle residence on Saturday, while their household doctor administered their vaccination process.

Britain, one of the severely affected nations with Coronavirus faced a brutal shock after a new strain of the Coronavirus was detected in the nation which is highly transmissible.

The situation in the nation reached a level that  Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced another stricter lockdown across the nation and the economy was also shuttered.

To monitor the situation in the UK and administer the vaccination process in the nation, the Prime Minister canceled his visit to India as a  Chief Guest for the Republic Day Parade.

The UK administration is not leaving any stone unturned to vaccinate the public against the Coronavirus pandemic, while the priority will be given to the vulnerable groups.

 
It is said that the UK is aiming to vaccinate nearly 15 million people by the mid of February which includes a lion's share of elderly people, vulnerable, and the frontline warriors.

With the Royal couple getting vaccinated with the virus, the UK administration is expecting that people show their willingness to get vaccinated with the vaccine.
